Come to a benefit for domestic violence at the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain (www.milkywayjp.com), on January 31, 2010. A good friend of mine, Andrea Harvey, lost her life in 2005 to a domestic violence incident, so the Andrea Harvey Foundation is having another benefit to raise awareness for domestic violence. The date is Sunday, January 31 from 3-5 at The Milky Way in Jamaica Plain. My group plays a one hour set from 3-4. The group will consist of a very special line-up, all of whom were close friends with Andrea, as well as ex-members of the Freelance Bishops, a band that Andrea was a big fan of. The group features myself on sax, Jeremy Parker on keys, Brian Coakley on bass, Jay Breen on drums, and Yahuba Garcia on percussion. This fall, Organism is teaming up with good friends Two Ton Shoe for an insane night of music at The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, on Friday November 7. This is a very special night, celebrating the recent release of Two Ton Shoe's "Never Cancel The Stage". TTS will be returning from their Korean tour, shortly before this night, so I'm sure the band will be as tight as ever! Also, this evening Organism will be featuring special guest vocalist, Jen Kearney, who we are psyched to have on this hit with us. Please, make sure to mark the date!

Hi Folks, We're kicking off summer with some fresh Organism tracks -- a compilation from two different live shows in April (The Barley Pub and Toad). You'll get to hear some brand new original material, as well as one featuring Lori Dow on vocals. Just click on the Multimedia link. I'd like to introduce a new member to the Organism family, who has joined us on our last couple of hits. Lori Dow is a phenomenal vocalist, who we met, randomly, this past summer -- Organism and Lori were both hired to perform at the same wedding. To make a long story short, she was singing two songs for the ceremony. We were completely blown away by her talent, and asked her if she'd like to sit in with us for a couple of numbers, which she did, and there was instantaneous chemistry. Her first gig performing with Organism took place at Toad on 12/14/07, and it was totally awesome!! The way we all worked together was astounding. One fan said, "Lori is so phenomenal, I closed my eyes, and it might as well have been Jill Scott singing ". Check out Lori's site at: www.loridow.com

Last weekend I played at a very packed Paradise Rock Club, that contained an energy like you don't even know, and with lots of screaming girls -- I felt like I was playing in the horn section for the Beatles, even though I don't think the Beatles ever had a horn section when they played out live....I could be wrong, though. The Ryan Montbleau Band had their CD release party, two nights at the Paradise, and it was total madness. Their new CD, Patience On Friday, is absolutely phenomenal, and I was honored to be a part of it. I highly advise anyone to pick up a copy of this album. You can get it thru www.ryanmontbleau.com.

I recently had the pleasure of recording on the new Ryan Montbleau CD called "One Fine Color". The CD is incredible!
